Project Overview

PharmaCatalyst is a next-generation “super app” designed to streamline and centralize the creation of promotional content in the highly regulated pharmaceutical industry. From concept to final delivery, PharmaCatalyst consolidates every step—ideation, content generation, review, and compliance checks—into a single, user-friendly hub. By leveraging AI-powered modules, teams can produce engaging banners, videos, and written assets tailored to meet stringent regulatory requirements while accelerating overall time-to-market.

Project Description

Introducing “PharmaCatalyst—a next-generation super app designed to empower pharmaceutical teams in planning, creating, and approving high-impact promotional content under strict regulatory guidelines. From early ideation and target persona selection to AI-driven concept generation and multi-stage MLR reviews, PharmaCatalyst provides a single, streamlined workspace that drastically reduces turnaround times while maintaining brand integrity and compliance.

Key Screens & Features

1. Dashboard / Home

Modules at a Glance: “Brand IQ,” “Content AI Studio,” “Creative AI Lab,” etc.

Quick Access: One-click to initiate projects, manage tasks, or discover time-saving tips.

2. Create Campaign

Stepwise Setup (Ignite → Improve → Illustrate): Define campaign objectives, target persona, markets, and goals.

Brief Upload & Templates: Drag-and-drop briefs (PDF, Word, PPT) or download a standardized template.

3. AI Concept Generation

Visual & Textual Brainstorms: Generate on-brand imagery and copy in seconds, with “Brand Guardrails” applied automatically.

Edit & Save: Seamlessly refine the generated content, then “Save” or “Re-Generate” based on feedback.

4. Projects / Task Board

Centralized Task Management: Filter tasks by channels (Email, Banner, iDetail), modules (Content Replicator, Brain IQ), or MLR status.

Collaboration: Tag teams, track progress, and view approvals or rejections at a glance.

Problem Statement

How might we centralize the pharmaceutical marketing content-creation, editing, and regulatory review process so that teams can maintain compliance, avoid version-control errors, and deliver timely, engaging campaigns without workflow bottlenecks?

Process

Key Takeaways

1. In-App Compliance is Non-Negotiable Stakeholders demanded a platform that could proactively flag or auto-correct regulatory issues during the creation process, rather than requiring a separate tool or a post-export review.

2. AI Must Be Transparent & Controllable While AI suggestions for copy or imagery boosted creativity, teams needed the ability to fine-tune or override these suggestions to maintain brand voice and regulatory mandates.

3. Comprehensive Collaboration & Review Marketing, creative, and regulatory teams wanted a single source of truth for tasks, with trackable approvals, annotation tools, and easy revert-to-previous-version capabilities.

4. Scalable for Future Enhancements From an IT perspective, the platform had to be modular, supporting integrations with existing enterprise tools (CRM, DAM) and expansions (new AI capabilities, additional compliance modules) without system overhaul.
